Given a choice, on a boring Saturday evening? I’d rather have my own Saturday sessions.

    Here’s what I’m gonna do:

Clean up the living room; retain three stool chairs

Do the lighting technique; go for the mood lighting, play with blue, orange and red bulbs.

Invite two guitarist; acoustically talented is a must!

Roll out the carpet for the jamming session.Turn on the microphone
    then…

I’d belt and show the world my lungs of steel.

Remember the saying: ‘Sing as if no one’s listening?’

    So what’s the repertoire?

I’d open the session by singing a cover version of Stevie Nick’s ‘Landslide’.

Then my end song would be Sting’s ‘Fields of Gold’, i’d borrow the arrangement done by Emi Fujita.

All I gotta do now is send out the invitation.

Wine would be definitely served. But I’d ban smokers. My lungs wouldn’t like it.

    Mood : creative
6pm, Friday.  Work as usual is stressful.  Bored to death.  No plans to go out with friends.  But, I enjoy the solitude.  I went to the car and drove myself home.

Ben Harper was busy singing his lungs out with Jack Johnson singing ‘High Tide, or Low Tide’.

Out of nowhere, I decided to drive straight to Tagaytay for fresh air.

Next thing I knew, I was craving for coffee.

This time, pass ‘muna’ for starbucks.  Gourmet Cafe seems to be warm and inviting.  Just like their coffee and pasta.

Just…… like the person seated on the opposite side.  A simple way of knowing a person.  Beam a smile.

But the person took the liberty of knowing me and joined me on the table.

Out for no reason at all, conversation flows.  A coffeemate was established.

    A soulmate was earned.

    What’s next?

Every second Friday of the month becomes a routine for coffee and conversation with my coffeemate.  It’s been going on for the last six months.

Ok to summarize…drive to Tagaytay.  Meet coffeemate for coffee.  Conversations and heated arguments are a must.  Bottomline is, this is quite exciting and above all, enjoyable.

    This is my little secret.

Is this a work of fiction or what?
