I’m not feeling well today, I’m not sick, but I feel a bit dizzy…I guess I’m still feeling the ‘after shocks’ from not having enough sleep the other night. I was up finishing a poster design and didn’t sleep til’ about 5 am in the morning. Today, I need something to cheer me up, maybe to lift my spirits for just a couple of notches (this would help). I turned to my saved emails and remembered that Edc sent me something inspiring. Here’s the email:
Experience life
You put a lot of energy and effort into living. So on a regular basis, take time to fully experience your life and the world in which you live.Spend some time that has no purpose other than to take in all the richness of which you’re a part.
Let go, for a while, of the need to analyze, to criticize, to judge and react.Allow your thoughts to be still. Feel the wonder, the goodness, the beauty of simply being, and knowing that you are.Experience life, not in order to gain any advantage or to impress someone. Experience life because the depth of its richness has no limit.
The more fully you experience and appreciate life, the more you’ll find yourself needing less and having more. Experience life, and you’ll clearly see how truly rich you already are.Life is a gift so precious that it has no equal. Experience life, and give that gift to yourself and others.
– Ralph Marston
After reading the email again, it made me smile and found myself reminiscing about my past experiences with families and friends. There’s one thing that I really like about Edc, he never forgets to share good thoughts even through emails, and it’s a real breather from the forwarded ‘chain’ letters and spams that’s been flooding my inbox lately.

There’s alot of weird things going on in our place, well at least for us. No, they’re not ghosts, elementals or spirits. But these are the little creatures that Kit and I created from our imaginations hehe. You don’t need to call the insanity center(yet, lol), we’re just one of those couples who does little weird things in our private moments. Yes, they’re private, we don’t show it when there’s people around, or else we will be branded as “oh there goes the weird couple again…”.
Gus is mischievous by nature. My very first encounter with Gus, was not that pleasant. Let’s say we got started off on the wrong foot…and i also meant this literally. Gus likes to bite! he’s very sneaky and likes to play tricks on me alot! Kit always side on Gus, he said that Gus won’t do such things. He will flash this “who me?” face, trying to look that he’s innocent. But as the saying goes “when the cat is away, the mouse will play.” that’s Gus! Weird stuff will happen whenever Kit is not around.
I guess most of us have been infected by the ‘gullibility virus’. I still receive hoax emails, chain letters from friends these days. Most of them I read just for ‘laughs’, but sometimes it irritates me when the email just wanted to scare you. I admit that a long time ago, I was so gullible and forward emails of such. But now, I don’t. Maybe if I wanna share a good laugh I will. Emails with a story at the beginning and then asked you to forward it, and if not something will happen to you, like you will die or you will get bad luck for the rest of your life; is all crap. I guess it’s alright if you forward such things, but always think first before forwarding of such emails, coz it might just annoy the other person. Microsoft, Bill Gates,Disney etc. are not giving away money or stuff for free(through email-forwarding). There is no way these companies will track or count the number of times you forwarded. I’ve read that tracking a message through such system would be practically impossible. There are a few hoaxes that play upon the sympathy of people, like asking for a donation of a dying kid or a very sick person. Check the sender, check the email address, most of them uses fake addresses. And if you can’t verify that the message is true, its likely that someone is trying to make a fool out of you. Some people just love to be grossed out, there are alot of these urban legends circulating the inboxes, like a story about ‘woman gets paper cut licking envelope, tongue gives birth to cockroach’, ‘ants eating up a person’s brain’ and stuff like that. So the best thing to do is to read them, have a good laugh and have fun. Ignore the messages from people you don’t know and ignore any messages that ask you to do something. If you decide to forward such emails let the other person know that it’s just for good laughs. Let’s now stop this gullibility virus to stop speading, hehe.
Yesterday, marked the second anniversary of our wedding. A special day for Kit and I (of course). It has been great 2 years and we’re both looking forward for more smiles, joys, excitements and new discoveries (about life) together.
