I’m definitely switching to another ‘host’! Yahoo hosting is giving me a headache. I’ve just upgraded to their Yahoo ‘Small Business Solutions’ package, so I can have more freedom and more space for my files. I thought it would be easier for me to make more blogs coz the package already includes ‘Wordpress’. Then I started cleaning my files, deleting some folders; and then started to activate the Wordpress…nothing happened…did the same procedure again…and…nada!..nothing happened. I checked my Mysql database and tried to logged in, and it wouldn’t let me to! What’s wrong yahoo? what’s wrong with you!
Another frustrating thing about this is, their technical support. I tried to call and was on hold for I think about 20 minutes…then I tried to email them, they answered and told me that they’re gonna try to fix the problem. I waited for a day and still my site is unviewable!…I emailed them again…no answer (emailed them 3 times!) So i called their tech support again and finally a real person answered…he told me that they are not trained to fix my problem and gave me the email address to another group of people that might be able to help me…and guess what? it’s the same email address! Their tech support sucks! I don’t wanna do business with them anymore. My website is still down…but not really, i can still access all my files and can still view the designs I made with html…but my new design is now based on PHP! and this F&%$#ng yahoo won’t fix my database! waaaa!
Five days has passed and I still have this problem.
I’ve been surfing and researching the net for a good ‘host’. And after all those research, I found the best one for me! yipeee! I’m switching to ‘Site5 ‘ .
Their tech support is great and they give more stuff for an affordable price.
Visit their site and you’ll drool, hehe. I’m so excited now and just can’t wait to transfer all my designs there.
I’m done here…Now back to FIFA world cup :-)
Go Spain! Go England! hehe
